Brad Giles, CSP, STSC, P.E., Grad IOSH is Principal of Bradley Giles and Associates. He has over 40 years of management experience in environmental, safety, health and security (ESH&S) disciplines. His tenure spans Consolidation Coal, Morrison Knudsen (MK) and successive companies Washington Group, URS, and AECOM. Giles was responsible for the organizations comprehensive safety program and served as the executive leader for more than 2,500 ESH&S professionals globally.
Giles holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Southern Illinois University. He is known for his experience developing and improving workplace safety cultures. Giles was an early advocate for the Safety Trained Supervisor certification, OSHA Alliance, Safety in Design, Employee Engagement through VPP and initiated the Safety Fest of the Great Northwest. He is currently Director at Large for ASSE and a BCSP Ambassador, Past President & Director for BCSP, Past Chairman for National Construction Safety Executives, Trustee of ASSE Foundation and Advisory Board Member for Murray State University.
Giles personal awards include ASSE Fellow, BCSP CSP Award of Excellence, ASSE Presidents Awards (2), ASSE Foundation Distinguished Service and ASSE Construction Safety Professional of the Year (1994). He was an instructor twice at the Harvard School of Public Health. His volunteer activities focus on coaching and developing young professionals and supporting the safety profession.
