James Thorn, CSP serves as the APAC EHS Director at Microsoft and has extensive SH&E operations and project management experience, previously serving as a developer of site, project, and corporate-level HSSE programs.
Thorn has worked in industrial, commercial, and maritime construction including many international projects. He has experience in government defense and insurance industries and accomplishes his success by engaging people and challenging the status quo.
Thorn is a CSP and a BCSP Ambassador. He is a GradIOSH with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and is a professional member of ASSP, formerly serving as Vice President of the Maharashtra Chapter.
