William “Bill” Moran

William “Bill” Moran, MA, OHST, CHST, STSC has more than 30 years of maritime, construction, and general industry safety consulting experience. He is a retired firefighter and a fire service instructor and was instrumental in developing several core fire prevention and compliance programs. Moran currently works as a Senior Risk Control Specialist for the PMA Management Corp. of New England and teaches at Keene State as an Adjunct Professor for the Occupational Health Applied Science program.

As a United States Marine, one of his many tasks was to monitor 1600 marines for internal regulatory compliance programs. During his service to his country, he received several accommodations and multiple citations. Upon his departure from the Marine Corps, he enrolled himself at Westfield State University, graduating in 1992 with a degree in business science. In 2013, Moran graduated from Keene State, where he was the first to graduate with a master’s degree in occupational and health applied science, graduating tops in his class with high honors.

Moran is an OSHA Trainer for the OSHA Training Institute in Manchester, NH and has contributed to several safety boards, as a previous or current member. Boards he has contributed to include the NSC, Connecticut Safety Society (CSS), Connecticut Construction Industry Association (CCIA), AGC, Connecticut Business Industry Association (CBIA), and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). He is also a member in good standing with ASSP.
